Wahine Disaster

LI: To use the information you gained from the text, to create a DLO about the Wahine Disaster.

Kakapo (reading group) has split in to groups of three and all the groups have made a DLO where they put information that they have found from the wahine disaster text. The information that was found by my group was that the disaster was one of the worst disasters in New Zealand. It happened on the 10th of April 1968 and it killed 50 people on board. The wahine was on its way from Lyttelton as it was travelling all the way to Wellington. The wahine sunk in wellington harbour. Till this day it is still a abandoned boat that is 11.6 metres down deep in the water.
