Cybersmart (Smart Learners Reflection)

 L.I: To be cybersmart.

Today I completed this DLO with my partner Farzana.We needed to label the work we have completed as "completed". Being cybersmart means to be knowledgeable with devices. If you are cybersmart you can keep safe while on the web. This activity was based on being a smart learner. What i've learnt so far from doing these cybersmart tasks is that to be cybersmart you have to know how to be smart with your chrome book by taking care of it and knowing how to use it.

My Tidy Google Drive (Cybersmart)

 L.I: How to keep my Google Drive tidy.

For this cybersmart task, we created a slide helping John clean his google drive. First we placed John’s different DLO’s into the right folder then we cleaned our own google drive. Next we had to put a red circle over the DLO that is not titled or if it has nothing in it. After that we took a photo of our clean machine google drive to show others what their google drive should look like and how it should be. The purpose of this task is to show everyone where and why to put their DLO’s in different folders so that it's easy to find.

Cybersmart

 LI: to give a helpful tip to people who are starting with Chromebooks. 

For this task , I decided to work with my friends. This task was about creating an DLO about Cybersmart. We first started off by introducing what Cybersmart is? We then introduced how to work google meets and what you should do in a google meet. After we created an another slide showing tips and shortcuts on knowing how to use our laptop correctly. I really enjoyed working with my group and helping other understand the safety reasons on being cybersmart.  I also liked writing what I knew about cybersmart , Did you know that cybersmart is also all about being safe online and choosing the right choices online.

Cybersmart Challenge

For this cybersmart challenge I had to fill in links that are apart of my learning and I just put in all the links like my Blog link, Class website link, Class blog link, my school website link and the PBS website link. The last slide I had to fill in was about my class call in lock down and I wrote down all the things you might have to or not do as your in a call with LS2. This might help if its your first time in a lock down class call.

Cybersmart Challenge

For this cybersmart challenge I did a fill in the blanks task to see how well I know how to take care of my chrome book with the Kawa of Care. This challenge was to see how well I know my chrome book like the shortcuts to it and what I have to do to make sure it is safe. Chrome book 1 and Chrome book 2 were the fill in the blanks tasks and the one with the image of me in the middle was a responsibility use agreement to agree that I would take care of my chrome book. Something I found interesting was that there are lots of shortcuts to do on your chrome book to make you get onto something quickly.
